Select "Waive" if you are enrolled in the Individual Marketplace, Oregon Health Plan/Medicaid, or a Student Health plan.
Select "Opt Out" if you have coverage through a spouse or are eligible for a different plan. Employees must provide documentation of their current plan, if applicable, to receive the Opt-out stipend.
The financial incentive mentioned here refers to the Opt-out stipend provided to Classified and Licensed staff who choose to forgo medical benefits. Staff members who are enrolled in plans through the Individual Marketplace, Oregon Health Plan/Medicaid, or a Student Health plan should select the "Waive" option, as they are not eligible for the Classified or Licensed Opt-out stipends. The Opt-Out Stipend is 30% of the district benefit contribution prorated by FTE.
