  • If a household qualifies for Free or Reduced Price Meals, they know their children are receiving balanced meals that meet required nutrition standards.
  • Households save money by not having to purchase or prepare lunch for their children.
  • Yamhill Carlton School District qualifies for other state and federal grants based on numbers of students who qualify for Free and Reduced-price benefits.
  • All Free & Reduced students may eat breakfast at No Charge-if they choose. Breakfast will be offered to paid students for $1.75.
  • Students qualifying for free receive a lunch meal at No Charge including milk, if taken with a full meal. Milk is sold ala carte for everyone for $0.50.
  • Students qualifying for reduced-price meals receive lunch at No Charge including milk due to the Oregon Legislative acts.
