2013-2014 Open Enrollment

A new legislative open enrollment law (HB3681) has made it possible for parents to complete an interdistrict request once during a student’s career rather than repeating the request annually.

There is a window of acceptance for this one-time application that is from March 1 through March 29, 2013.  If you want your student(s) to attend Yamhill Carlton Schools, please complete the enclosed application and return it no later than March 29, 2013. After March 29, the standard inter district transfer process will be in effect until the next open enrollment window in 2014.  You will only need to do this Open Enrollment process once, not annually like the current inter district transfer process.

We will be accepting open enrollment applications for students in grades 5th-12th (and grades K-4th if they have a sibling who is attending under the open enrollment in grades 5th-12th), or Alliance Academy (all grade levels) during the open enrollment period. 

You can click here to print out a copy of the open enrollment applicaition.  Once it is filled out you may mail or drop your application off to the district office or one of the school buildings.  Please place Attention:  Michelle- District Office on the envelope.  If you have questions, please call the district office at 503-852-6980 or email Michelle at rettkem@ycschools.org.
